New Delhi. Although the road is expanding everywhere in the country, but in a village in Malkanagri district of Odisha, the children who are upset due to lack of road have set an example by making the road themselves. According to the news published in a newspaper, students of one village were having difficulty in going to school due to lack of road. Many times the villagers have requested the administration to get the road built, but if the lice will not get cautious on the ears of the administration, then a group of students of the school themselves pledged to build the road.
Consider a report of the Ministry of Road Transport, 8,169 km long highway has been constructed by the Ministry in the country last year, but even today there are many villages where the development work is not even nominal and there is no road. . One such village is Majhiguda in Korukonda block in Malkangiri district of Odisha. The road of about two km was converted into a pit, due to which the students of Talakatta Government School had difficulty in going to school.
Through his parents many times he demanded the construction of the road from the government administration, but due to the lax attitude of the administration, the road was unable to be built, so the students built the road themselves. The students were also helped by members of a local NGO ‘Team Mobilization’ and women from a self-help group.
Administration is not giving approval to build the road
Regarding this, Bhim Barse, the sarpanch of Patrail Gram Panchayat, says that the villagers living in Padalput use this road to go to other villages, since I have become a sarpanch, I have many times built this road under my annual action plan. The matter was brought to the administration but the administration never gave permission to build this road citing some reason.
