His journey, which started five years ago with one or two students, has reached 5000 students today. His channel now has more than 2.5 lakh subscribers. Asha, 34, is a software engineer. After engineering in 2006, he worked at a company for a few years. After childbirth, she decided to leave the job and spend time with him. She says- During my stay at home, I kept trying to do something creative. Meanwhile, I recorded some video lectures and uploaded them to YouTube.
The first two videos of Asha did not get a very good response. But, the third video was seen and appreciated by many. He then uploaded some more videos. People advised him to start coaching by messaging and calling. After this, their journey started. She teaches in an innovative way. Hundreds of his students have achieved success in different exams.
Asha herself has prepared for banking and has also become successful. However, he did not join the bank due to service locations outside Kerala. She says that there are very few online platforms for competitive exams, where preparations are made in better ways and at less cost. So I decided that now I will guide the children online.

Asha started an online class named Competitive Cracker in 2016. He spent around 35 thousand rupees for laptop and internet connection. After becoming popular on the online platform, he started a coaching class in a rented accommodation in Ernakulam. The children, who had seen his lecture on YouTube, are now enrolled here. This year, when online classes started everywhere due to Corona, their channel subscribers also increased.
For the first one year he single-handedly handled the entire work. She used to do everything from teaching to making YouTube videos, uploading, watching marketing. Her husband then quit her job and joined Asha’s startup. Right now a team of 25 people are working with Asha. This includes people ranging from teachers to marketing and accountants.
During the lockdown, Asha launched several new and innovative classes. Now 70% of their revenue comes from online platforms. They provide facilities like video lectures, online content, test series. He has also launched a mobile app. Overall, his business turnover has reached Rs 1 crore annually.
Asha prepares for UPSC, KPSC, SSC and bank jobs. The price of their packages and modules varies depending on the number of lectures. Their courses start at one thousand rupees. Also some notes and lectures are available for free. Asha and her team also have a blog, which contains information about the date, syllabus and selection process of the competitive exam.

Asha takes class even while doing household work. Many times she takes lectures even while cooking food. She says that children understand practical things much better and they remember them for a long time.
