Obstacles in RAS recruitment from scratch
Let us know that RAS recruitment has been a hindrance since the beginning of 2018. The High Court’s single bench ordered the release of fresh results, including the removal of question numbers 11 and 22 of the preliminary examination in April last year. The commission had filed a petition against it in the bench. According to the order of the High Court, RAS main examination was conducted on 25 and 26 June last year. Subsequently, Surgyan Singh and others filed petitions regarding the cut off of the preliminary examination. It was settled on 30 June. At the same time, this time Amit Kumar Sharma and others had filed a petition in the Rajasthan High Court raising questions on the list made for interview. The petition said that ineligible candidates have been selected in the ex-servicemen and DC category. Eligibility holders are excluded from the interview. An interim stay on the interview was stayed by Judge SP Sharma. These interviews in the commission were to run from 7 December to 13 January.
