Kolkata : In the election summer of West Bengal, the political parties who are coming out are adopting all methods to woo the voters. Apart from wall writing, posters, road shows, public meetings, efforts are also being made to attract voters through interesting songs. All major parties have released songs for the election.
Noted singer Kabir Suman from the ruling Trinamool Congress has composed the song on the theme of ‘Bengal apne beti ko hi chahta hai’ which is becoming a part of the Trinamool Congress campaign. On the other hand, the CPM-Congress alliance has composed the song Tumpa Sona… which has emerged on social media.
How the BJP is trying hard to gain power in Bengal? The party has prepared a new theme song, which claims to have changed the day of Bengal. At the same time, in support of Mamta Banerjee, Kabir Suman has sung that Bengal wants the daughter of Bengal. Their government should be there only. To counter this, the Bharatiya Janata Party has sung songs of changing the day of Bengal. The song will be played at the Prime Minister’s Brigade Parade Conference.
The video of this song also shows Mamata Banerjee for a few seconds, in which the BJP has hit out at her. The song of the BJP says that people do not forget false things again and again. It has compared Mamta rule with Bengal’s civilization and culture and has been described as suffering from violence. Political pundits believe that through music, the BJP is trying to prove that the civilization and culture of Bengal has been demolished under the Mamata regime. Apart from this, the issue of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the top leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party being externalized by Mamata Banerjee and her party has also been included by the BJP in its songs.
Earlier, to attack Mamata, the Bharatiya Janata Party composed music on the parody of the Italian song “Bela Chao” against the dictatorship. Apart from this, the song has a sharp attack on Mamta using the words of the ruling party like Gaurav, Vikas of Bengal.
There has also been a call for revolution and change in Bengal. The words of this song are your words, let’s talk together and make a revolution. It calls for setting up of industries and real development in Bengal. The song’s lyrics focus on making Sonar Bangla. Strategically, the issues on which the Trinamool Congress is fighting have been included in this music.
