Bhopal : President Ram Nath Kovind will attend the state-level tribal conference held at village Singrampur in Damoh district at 11.30 am on Sunday. The program will be chaired by Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
Public Relations Officer Mukesh Modi said that on this occasion, the President will also participate in the foundation stone laying ceremony of the conservation work of Singaurgarh Fort. The program is being jointly organized by Ministry of Culture, Government of India and Department of Tribal Affairs, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
The film will showcase the historical heritage
The event will feature a video film showcasing the historical heritage of Singrampur. Along with this, students of Eklavya schools will present cultural programs on the heroic story of Rani Durgavati. On this occasion, the book will be released by the tribal department’s booklet ‘Bangi’ and inauguration of ‘Adirang.com’ portal of art training virtual class by tribal artists. The portal has been created by Vanya Prakashan.
Award distribution to talented tribal students
On this occasion, the President will award the talented students of tribal class with Shankarshah and Rani Durgavati awards. Before reaching Singrampur, President Ramnath Kovind will lay a wreath on the statue of Rani Durgavati and will also participate in the plantation program.
