Bhubaneswar: Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, taking steps to improve life, on Friday launched a LPG refilling and new connection registration facility from Bhubaneswar through a missed call.


Indane LPG consumers of Indian Oil will be able to register for refill booking and new connections by giving a missed call to the phone number 8454955555 from anywhere across the country.
At present, the facility of registration of new connections is available only in Bhubaneswar. Soon this facility will be implemented in the rest of the country.


Inaugurating the missed call facility and terming it as a New Year gift for the country, Mr. Pradhan said, “It is the Prime Minister’s wish to ensure energy availability, accessibility and affordability for the common people of the country.” . Our ministry has ensured. The Prime Minister wishes and empowers the common man of the country, while our Ministry has ensured the increase in LPG production in the country from 55.9 per cent in 2014 to about 99 per cent now. He said that with this facility the life of rural consumers will also be made easier.
