Patna : In Bihar, a three-tier panchayat election can be duly announced by the State Election Commission on 10 March. The Commission has earlier sent the districts duly fixed schedule related to election preparations. At the same time, Panchayat elections will be conducted in the flood affected divisions from first to middle phase. State Election Commission Secretary Yogendra Ram has sent the list of district election officers to conduct the election in 10 phases divisional wise. The commission will conduct elections in one district of the division at each stage. In the ninth and tenth phase, a program has been set to hold elections in more than one district.
See in which phase elections will be held in which district: In the first phase elections will be held in Darbhanga, Kosi and Purnia divisions. Under this, the commission will conduct elections in Madhubani, Supaul and Araria districts.
In the second phase Darbhanga, Kosi, Purnia and Tirhut divisions have been taken. Under this, the commission will conduct elections in Darbhanga and Madhepura districts.
In the third phase, Samastipur, Saharsa, Purnia, Shivahar and Sheikhpura districts of Darbhanga, Kosi, Purnia, Tirhut and Munger divisions have been taken.
Polling will be held in the fourth phase in Tirhut, Purnia, East Champaran, Katihar and Begusarai districts of Munger division.
In the fifth phase, the Election Commission will conduct elections in Muzaffarpur, Khagaria and Saran districts of Tirhut, Munger and Saran divisions.
In the sixth phase, elections will be held in Tirhut, Saran and Patna and West Champaran, Gopalganj, Nalanda and Jehanabad districts of Magadh division.
In the seventh phase, elections will be held in Tirhut, Saran, Bhagalpur and Vaishali, Siwan, Bhagalpur and Lakhisarai districts of Munger division.
In the eighth phase, the commission will conduct elections in Patna, Munger, Nawada and Banka districts of Patna, Munger, Magadh and Bhagalpur divisions.
In the ninth phase, polling will be held in Munger, Patna, Jamui, Bhojpur, Gaya and Buxar districts of Magadha.
In the tenth and final phase, elections will be held in Aurangabad, Rohtas, Arwal and Kaimur districts of Magadh, Patna division.
The results of Bihar Panchayat Election-2021 will come within 2 days. This time panchayat elections in Bihar will be conducted multi post EVMs. 15 thousand EVMs will be used in the election phase-wise. The Election Commission has prepared to conduct elections in 534 blocks, 38 zilla parishad and 8087 panchayats in Bihar at present.
