Ranchi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday laid the foundation stone of light house project in six cities of the country including Ranchi in Jharkhand.
On the occasion of the foundation stone of the project, Chief Minister Hemant Soren participated in the program organized at the football ground near HEC, Sector One Market in the capital Ranchi. The Chief Minister congratulated and congratulated the Prime Minister for the new year and housing being built with modern technology and innovative processes. He expressed the hope that the Prime Minister has started this scheme to accelerate the field of housing construction with the vision and foresight that the poor-laborers and homeless people living in cities will benefit.
The Chief Minister said that 1008 houses are to be built under the Light House Project in Ranchi. Beneficiaries also have to share with the central government and state government in this project. But, Jharkhand is a backward state. It has a large population of poor and laborers. Their income is low. In such a situation, it is not very easy for the poor and laborers to give the share that has been fixed in the scheme. Seeing the economic condition of the poor and laborers, he urged the Prime Minister to increase the central government’s share in the scheme, so that they do not have to bear much economic burden.
