The 30-share BSE Sensex gained 259.33 points or 0.55 percent to close at its new record of 47,613.08 points. The Sensex also touched an all-time high of 47,714.55 points during trading. Similarly, the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty gained 59.40 points or 0.43 percent to close at its new high of 13,932.60 points. During trading, the Nifty went to a record of 13,967.60 points.
