On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, there is a sense of silence this time in the political corridors of Bihar. But on behalf of the leaders, several banquets were held in Patna in person. JDU leader and former minister Jayakumar Singh’s Chuda-Dahi Banquet was the most discussed among them. Jaikumar Singh, who has lost the election, is also going to leave his ministerial residence soon. His bungalow has been allotted to the new minister Rampreet Paswan. While going from this bungalow, he managed the politics of NDA from JDU under the pretext of his Chuda-Dahi banquet. When Rajya Sabha MP and former Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi arrived from BJP, JDU rebels also had many faces in the assembly elections.
Sushil Modi reached to eat Jayakumar’s tilakut
Jaikumar Singh is among those JDU leaders who have been fiercely cursing the BJP since the assembly election results. Not once, Jaikumar Singh has blamed the BJP for his defeat. He was the first leader of the JDU who, with his defeat, had directly put the BJP in the dock for the JDU’s seats to be reduced. Singh’s statement was that ultimately the BJP had to turn back. The BJP spokesperson described him as the loser leader of the JDU. But today, BJP MP Sushil Modi arrived at the same Jayakumar Singh’s Chuda-Dahi Banquet.
Sushil Modi, seems to be isolated these days from his own party’s programs. Alam is that he did not attend the official training camp held in Rajgir in the past. While MP Radha Mohan Singh was appointed trainer in this program. Sushil Modi’s participation in this banquet is just a formality, but Jayakumar’s Modi love can become a new story of the tug of war within the BJP about JDU.
Many rebels of JDU eating Jaikumar’s curd were also seen
Many rebels from JDU also reached the Chuda-Dahi banquet of Jayakumar Singh. Rannvijay Shahi, Manjit Singh, Shailendra Pratap. These are the leaders who rebelled from JDU during the assembly elections. Rannvijay Shahi contested from Goh on RLSP ticket, while Manjit Singh and Shailendra Pratap contested as independents. When these leaders arrived at the Chuda-Dahi banquet of Jayakumar Singh today, they met Vashistha Narayan Singh, former state president of JDU and current president Umesh Kushwaha. This meeting with a smile also made it clear that despite being a rebel, JDU did not have any specific complaints from them. If he returns to the party, it is not a big deal.
JDU claims – NDA leaders are trying to break grand alliance
The new JDU President Umesh Kushwaha also arrived at this yogurt-meal banquet by Jayakumar Singh. Umesh Kushwaha also made a big claim about the grand alliance. Said that the leaders of NDA are engaged in breaking the Grand Alliance. This claim of Umesh Kushwaha is actually a reply given to RJD leader Shyam Rajak. Shyam Razak issued a statement in the past claiming 17 JDU MLAs were in touch with RJD. After which the BJP-JDU made claims of breaking into the Grand Alliance on their own behalf.
