Mathura : First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged in the Sadar Bazar police station against 66 people, including former social welfare officer, in the scholarship and fee reimbursement scam in private ITI educational institutions.
MLA Puran Prakash had complained to the Chief Minister about this scam, after which the current social welfare officer Ramashankar, after conducting an investigation, told 62 private ITIs and managers and operators of educational institutions apart from former social welfare officer Dr. Karunesh Tripathi and three babus of his office A report has been lodged against Sadar Bazar police station on Saturday under Section 420/468 and Section 409 IPC. In the report, they are accused of grabbing scholarship and fee reimbursement of students through fake documents.
The MLA said that a huge scam has been done by ITIs as well as educational institutions and their faces will also be revealed after investigation.
Superintendent of Police Uday Shankar Singh said that in relation to the irregularity of scholarship and fee reimbursement done by private ITI institutions between the years 2015-16 to 2019-20, the management of private ITIs and educational institutions including former social welfare officer and A report has been lodged against the operators by the present social welfare officer at Sadar Bazar police station.
He said that along with the action of collecting evidence, other legal action is being taken and the culprits will be arrested soon.
