Wellington: Australian captain Aaron Finch has made a big record in the fourth T20 International match being played against New Zealand at Sky Stadium. Finch has become the highest run-scorer in T20 Internationals. With this, he has also become the first player to score 100 sixes in T20 Internationals.
With this, he has become the sixth player to score 100 or more sixes in T20 Internationals. New Zealand’s Martin Guptill has hit 135 sixes in T20 Internationals for the most sixes and he is the first in this case. It is followed by Rohit Sharma who has hit 127 sixes so far. On the third number is Eoin Morgan, who has 113 sixes. The fourth and fifth numbers are New Zealand’s Colin Munro (107 six) and West Indies’ Chris Gayle (105 six).
At the same time, Finch became the first Australian to score the most runs in T20 Internationals. He has scored 2310 runs in 70 matches which include 2 centuries and 14 half-centuries. Finch scored an unbeaten 79, surpassing fellow player David Warner in the T20 Internationals for the most runs and reached first place. Warner has 2265 runs in 81 matches which includes one century and 18 half-centuries.
