Jammu : The weather in Jammu and Kashmir remains dry and strong sunshine is coming out. In Jammu, the sun is so strong that people have stopped using warm clothes to go out of the house. Only homes are wearing less warm suits. However, in the Jammu division, it remains cold in the morning. Meanwhile, according to the Meteorological Department, dry weather is likely to continue in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh for the weekend.
According to the Meteorological Department, the predominantly dry weather is likely to continue in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh till 6 March and during this time the day temperature will also increase although the night temperature will increase slightly.
Meanwhile, Srinagar recorded 1.6, Pahalgam minus 3.3 and Gulmarg recorded a minimum temperature of 4.5 degrees Celsius.
Leh city recorded minus 9.0 as the minimum night temperature, 13.7 in Kargil and 19.4 in Dras.
The minimum temperature was 10.3, Katra 11.5, Batote 6.6, Banihal 8.0 and Bhaderwah 2.8 in Jammu city.
