Chandigarh: In order to make the entire process of applying Kovid-19 vaccine in Haryana, the health department today conducted a ‘dry run’ in Panchkula district as per the plan of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Additional Chief Secretary of the department, Rajiv Arora said on the occasion that a ‘dry run’ was planned by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry on 2 January 2021 in Haryana to ensure smooth implementation of the Kovid-19 vaccine. The primary objective of conducting the ‘dry run’ was to practice the entire process of Kovid-19 vaccine rollout from beginning to end in order to identify all the challenges in its implementation.
This will help in preparing a detailed plan for the actual implementation of the vaccine roll out and will also give confidence in program managers at various levels. He said that this ‘dry run’ will also help in reviewing and reviewing the preparations at the district and block levels and collecting data based on experience. Apart from this, to ensure the successful implementation of the Kovid-19 vaccine roll out, a ‘dry run’ is also planned across the state on January 7.
