Chandigarh: The Punjab government is going to practice corona vaccination in Patiala district from January 2 to 3.
Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu said in a statement here today that according to the guidelines of the Government of India, Patiala district has been selected in Punjab where Medical College Patiala, Sadbhavana Hospital (Private Hospital) and Ch. C. In Satrana, practice will be done for corona vaccination. Support of UNDP and WHO will be taken for its organization.
He said that its objective is to examine the prescribed methods for introducing Kovid-19 vaccination in the health system. Describing the specialties of the vaccination program, he said that the Universal Immunization Program (UIP) is running multiple wide-age-range vaccination campaigns across the country. This is the first time that the previously identified beneficiaries from the collaborative groups will be vaccinated by the vaccination program Electronic Application Ko -win.
According to him, its initial objective is to evaluate the potential use of co-win applications in the field environment and to examine the relationship between the implementation of planning and the reporting framework to identify challenges. It will also provide confidence to program managers at various levels.
