Sugar tastes good, and everything in it tastes even better! Sweet crystalline carbohydrates are found everywhere. However, what may seem an innocent pleasure is actually the cause of many complex health issues when we consume it in large quantities. Today, it is difficult to avoid sugar, but many of us do not even know exactly how we are accustomed to it.

9. Muscle and Joint Pain

This can be one of the many signs that your body uses to warn you about inflammatory processes going on inside. High amounts of sugars in your diet cause immune cells to secrete inflammatory messengers into your blood that try to break down proteins bound to advanced glycation end-products, or glucose molecules.
The more sugar you eat, the more advanced glycation end-products appear, resulting in more inflammatory messengers being sent to break the cycle. A cascade of biochemical reactions can eventually result in arthritis, cataracts, heart disease, poor memory, or wrinkled skin.

Sugar is processed really fast, you feel hungry despite the fact that you scarfed a muffin an hour ago. In fact, sugar is known to release dopamine, similar to what you would feel when using addictive drugs. The neurotransmitter dopamine is released by neurons in this system in response to the rewarding event. This particular chemical is most famous for keeping us in a good mood.
The brain sees sugar as a reward or a treat, and the more sugar you eat, the more your body craves it. It is a vicious cycle and addictive cycle. Also, a food high in sugar will not make you feel full because it does not contain any useful nutrients.

Glucose is responsible for the supply of energy in your body, due to which it is very important to keep your blood sugar level at the proper level. This means that a high sugar diet is associated with a higher risk of acne flare up. If your unruly skin bothers you and no medical treatment helps, try changing your dietary habits. We do not insist on cutting sugar out of your life completely, but you want to consume fewer foods that contain added sugar.

Various sugary foods such as candy, dry cereal, and breath mint can get stuck between your teeth where it is difficult to reach, accelerating the decay process. Maintaining proper oral hygiene can save you from regular dentist appointments.

If nothing is too sweet for you, cut down on the consumption of extra-sugary foods, such as refined sugar and sweet syrup, and switch to a well-balanced diet.

The vitamin C that your body needs to fight the flu is very similar to the chemical composition of glucose. Instead of looking for and working with vitamin C, your immune system takes glucose that has zero power against flu bacteria. Therefore, instead of fighting a disease your immune system suffers from it.
To prevent such a scenario, cut down on sweets and eat fruits and vegetables rich in nutrients and vitamins C and E, as well as beta-carotene and zinc, when you are at risk of a cold or flu.

According to the World Health Organization, the recommended dose of sugar should be less than 10% of your daily energy intake. This is equivalent to 7 teaspoons of sugar added 10% daily. Sugar is very tasty and we all love it, but eating too much can have many harmful consequences. In fact, just 4 grams of carbohydrate = 1 teaspoon of sugar in your body. Watch for the signs discussed above and try to cut down on your daily intake of sugar. Find sugar in natural products such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, or grains.
