More than 40 million people in the world have lost their light.
Around 110 crore people in the world are struggling with eye disease. The reason for this is not being able to buy glasses. This number is almost equal to the population of India. Out of this, 59 crore people are far away, while 51 crore have poor eyesight. More than 40 million people have lost their light.
4 crore out of 59 crore people with vision impairment
Out of 59 crore people with vision impairment, about 8%, or 43 crore people have lost their eyesight. Among them, the number of women is more than men.
- 6.1 million feared to be blind in 30 years in the world.
- Eye disease causes a loss of 30 lakh crore rupees to the world, more than Maharashtra in the country and UAE GDP in the world.
